Privacy Policy

Peeek, Inc. ("Peeek," "we," "us," "our") is a Delaware corporation. We operate the Peeek ticketing and event-discovery platform. Peeek is affiliated with Avarithim, Inc. ("Avarithim"), our identity-verification provider. This Policy applies to the Peeek Service; Avarithim's own services are governed by Avarithim's privacy policy.

(a) From Avarithim when you sign in. When you sign in with your verified Avarithim account, we receive your Avarithim member ID and confirmation that your account is verified; whether you hold Avarithim's gold ring; your reliability band, when Avarithim has one; yes-or-no results for any entry requirements Peeek sets (whether you meet a requirement, never the measurement behind it); whether your email address and phone number are verified; and whether you have agreed to share Avarithim signals with hosts. We never receive numeric scores. If you have allowed it within Avarithim, we also receive your email address, phone number, city, and name. When you add an Instagram handle, Avarithim tells us whether it is verified as yours.

(a2) From Avarithim about your posts. If you post on Instagram and your caption mentions a Peeek host's verified Instagram handle, Avarithim may tell us so. We keep a record of the event, your account, when you posted, the handle you mentioned, and Avarithim's reference for the post. We do not receive or keep the caption, photo, or a link to the post. You choose whether to add a post to your event record, and withdrawing that consent in Avarithim deletes these records.

(b) Information you provide. Your name and display preferences, Instagram handle, city, events you create, your responses to hosts' RSVP questions, and photos you upload.

(c) Information generated by your activity. RSVPs, ticket purchases, check-ins, no-shows, attendance history and show rate, and waitlist activity. When you share an event with your personal link, we record which RSVPs came through it, so the host can see who brought guests. If a host offers them, we also record the invitation links you create or use (to bring a friend, to invite friends from a waitlist, or to invite someone to host on Peeek), what they earn you (such as moving up a waitlist or priority entry at the host's next event), badges such as Host Connector, and a log of these steps used to count how they perform.

(d) Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Peeek never stores your card number; we retain payment identifiers such as Stripe payment intent and transfer IDs and payout status.

(e) Device and log data. Basic technical and log information used for security and to operate the Service.

We use your information to:

• operate ticketing, RSVPs, and check-in;
• assign you to event access tiers using yes-or-no results from Avarithim (whether you meet a requirement, never a numeric score);
• power Door Forecast attendance predictions and event discovery (these behavioral uses are gated on your Platform Improvement consent, which is off by default);
• send notifications according to your preferences; and
• detect and prevent fraud and protect platform safety.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your personal information for advertising.

(a) With hosts. When you request or hold a ticket to an event, the host of that event (and anyone they make a co-host) sees: your name as displayed and your photo; your answers to that host's RSVP questions; your ticket type and status, when you checked in, and what you paid and any refund for that event; which of that host's events you came to, and your no-shows and late cancellations at that host's events; whether you have been to a Peeek event before (yes or no, with no details of other hosts' events); and, if you shared that host's events with your personal link, how many RSVPs it brought. A host can download a guest list for their own event with these details. Only if you have turned on the Avarithim partner-framework consent does the host also see what Avarithim shares about you: whether you hold the gold ring, your reliability band when Avarithim has one, whether your Instagram handle is verified, and your city if you've chosen to share it. With that consent off, the host sees only Peeek's own data. Hosts never see a score. For events run with Avarithim's event service, the host also sees what is described in 4(g). A host can also keep private tags (such as "VIP", "press" or "creator") and a private note about any guest who has requested or held a ticket to one of their events, and can see which of their own events you attended. Tags and notes are visible only to the host who wrote them. They are not shown to other hosts or to other guests. You can read any note a host wrote about you in your data export.

A host whose event you have requested or held a ticket to can invite you to another of their events. Invitations appear only inside Peeek. We do not send them by email, text message or push notification, and you can dismiss any invitation.

A host can send messages about an event to the guests confirmed for it. They appear in Peeek and, if you allow notifications from Peeek, as a push notification. If you have opted in to Peeek's text messages, a host's update about that event's time, place, entry, or changes may also be sent to you by text message, at most three per event, after Peeek screens it. Hosts cannot use Peeek's text messages for promotions or third-party offers.

(b) With Avarithim. As our affiliated identity provider, Avarithim supports account verification. Separately, and only with your explicit opt-in consent (off by default), we share your name and event attendance history with Avarithim under the exact consent language shown to you in the app. You can revoke this consent at any time in settings.

(c) Service providers. We share information as needed with providers who help us run the Service: Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS), Resend (email), and Supabase and Amazon Web Services (infrastructure).

(d) Legal and safety. We may disclose information to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the public, or Peeek.

(e) Corporate transactions. If Peeek is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred, with notice as required by law.

(f) Sponsor recaps. A host can share a recap of a past event with sponsors or partners. Its totals and percentages (how many people checked in, and the share of attendees with a gold ring or a verified Instagram) count only attendees who turned on the Avarithim partner-framework consent, and they are left out when fewer than ten attendees are counted. A recap never includes your contact details or any score. It names you, by your display name and @handle, only if you ticked "Feature me in this event's recap (name and @handle)" when you RSVP'd to that event. That box is off unless you tick it, it applies to that event only, and Avarithim records your choice.

(g) With Avarithim, for events it runs. Some events on Peeek are run with Avarithim's event service. When you RSVP to one of these events, cancel your RSVP, or bring a guest, Peeek sends it to Avarithim with your Avarithim member ID (and, for a guest, which member they are), so Avarithim can recommend to the host who gets a spot.

A host can choose who can get a spot at one of these events, for example verified members only, or verified members with 100,000 or more followers on Instagram or TikTok. Avarithim checks this and tells the host only whether you meet it. Neither Peeek nor the host ever sees your follower count.

A host can also add people to a list for an event by their Avarithim username or member ID. A verified member on the list can get a spot without meeting the follower requirement. Peeek keeps the list with the event and sends it to Avarithim. If you delete your Peeek account, we remove your Avarithim member ID from every host's list. A handle a host typed in themselves stays on their list, because we can't tell whose it is.

Avarithim keeps your RSVP, any guest you bring, its recommendation to the host, the host's decision and who made it, and, if you are declined, the reason. If you are declined, Peeek shows you Avarithim's message about it. The host will see your name, verification status, gold-ring status and Avarithim's recommendation. If a host marks an event as sensitive, such as a religious event, it is never recorded as the event that brought you to Avarithim, and it is left out of reports to partners and of reports across events. How Avarithim handles this information is described in Avarithim's privacy policy.

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (CCPA).

Categories we collect. In the past 12 months we have collected: identifiers (such as name, email, phone, and account identifiers); commercial information (tickets purchased and event activity); internet or other electronic network activity (device and log data); and inferences (yes-or-no results and bands received from Avarithim, such as whether you hold the gold ring or meet an entry requirement). We collect these for the business purposes described in this Policy.

Your rights. You have the right to know the personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it; the right to delete your personal information; the right to correct inaccurate personal information; and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

How to exercise. To exercise your rights, email privacy@gopeeek.com. We will verify your identity before responding, typically by confirming information associated with your account. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may require the agent to provide proof of authorization and may still verify your identity directly.

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings; upon request, your account is scheduled for permanent deletion 30 days later, and you can contact support to cancel before then, except records we must retain for legal or tax purposes (see Data Retention). If you have hosted paid events, your payout records stay linked to your Stripe account after your account is deleted, so that payouts can be accounted for to tax authorities and to Stripe. You can manage your consent toggles, opt out of non-critical SMS and email, and request a copy of your data from your settings or by contacting privacy@gopeeek.com.

By checking the optional SMS box, either when you RSVP to an event or in Settings after verifying your mobile number, you consent to receive SMS messages from Peeek related to your account and events you register for, including RSVP confirmations, ticket delivery, waitlist updates, event reminders, and event changes. Consent is not a condition of attending any event, purchasing a ticket, or using Peeek. Message frequency varies based on your activity. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of non-critical messages at any time in account settings, or stop all messages by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes; the above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent, which will not be shared with any third parties. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

We protect your information using encryption in transit, access controls, verified-identity gating, and fraud monitoring. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a person under 18, we will delete it and close the account.

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be posted here and, where appropriate, notified in-app or by email. The effective date above indicates when this version took effect.
