Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I need an Avarithim account?

Peeek uses Avarithim for identity verification. Every user — host, co-host, and attendee — must have a verified Avarithim account. This ensures every person on the platform has a verified email, verified phone, and real social presence.

How does ticketing work?

Peeek adds an 8% platform fee on top of the ticket price set by the host. For example, a $20 ticket costs the buyer $21.60. The host receives $20. Free events have no platform fee.

When do hosts get paid?

Payouts are processed 48 hours after the event ends via Stripe Express Connect. You must have completed Stripe onboarding from your dashboard to receive payouts.

What is the refund policy?

Refund policies are set by hosts at event creation — either full refund if cancelled more than 24 hours before, or no refunds. Host cancellations always trigger automatic full refunds regardless of policy.

How do I dispute a charge?

You can submit an in-app dispute from your ticket within 48 hours of the event. Disputes are reviewed manually by our team. Buyer no-shows, not enjoying the event, or changing your mind are not qualifying dispute reasons.

My account was suspended — what do I do?

Account suspensions are tied to Avarithim identity. If your Avarithim account is in good standing, contact support with your account details. If suspended on Peeek directly, email our trust and safety team.

How do I delete my account and data?

Visit Account Settings → Delete Account. Your data will be scheduled for purge within 30 days. Payment records required for tax compliance are retained per legal requirements.

What are the behavioral data toggles?

At first login, Peeek offers two optional data consent settings: Platform Improvement (improves Door Forecast and discovery) and Avarithim Intelligence Network (shares your attendance history with Avarithim to enhance your verified profile). Both default off. You can change them in account settings at any time.

What happens when an event is reported?

Events that receive 10 or more reports are automatically paused pending manual review. Our trust and safety team reviews flagged events and takes appropriate action, which may include cancellation and refunds.

How do 21+ events work?

Hosts can mark events as 21+ at creation. Age verification at the door is the host's legal responsibility. Peeek provides the platform marking only.
